Edit with page-aware overlays

Every text label, highlight, pen stroke, and image is stored for the page where it was added. Move between pages to review the full document before creating the download.

Understand what this editor changes

The editor adds new visual content on top of existing pages. It does not rewrite original paragraphs, reflow fonts, erase underlying text, or perform secure redaction.

Keep a source copy

PDF coordinates, fonts, transparency, and page rotation can affect how overlays appear in another viewer. Keep the original document and inspect every edited page after download.

Step by step

How to use Visual PDF Editor

  1. Choose a PDF and wait for the first page preview.

  4. Undo mistakes, then download and inspect the edited PDF.
Editing limits

Overlays, not source rewriting

This editor adds new objects to a PDF page. Use a dedicated redaction tool when underlying content must be permanently removed, and use a word processor when original paragraphs need to reflow.

Visual PDF Editor questions

Can I edit existing PDF text?

No. This tool adds new text and graphics over the existing PDF without changing its original text objects.

Can I edit more than one page?

Yes. Added items are saved separately for each page as you navigate through the PDF.

Is highlighting the same as redaction?

No. A translucent or opaque shape is not secure redaction because underlying content can remain in the file.

Does the PDF leave my device?

No. Previewing and editing are performed locally in the browser.
