Select pages to remove

Page previews make it easier to remove blank scans, duplicate pages, or unrelated sections.

Remove only what you intend

Selected previews represent pages that will be deleted, not pages that will be kept. Confirm the selection count and review each highlighted page before creating the result, especially in a long document.

Keep at least one page

A valid output PDF must contain at least one page. If you need individual pages instead, use Extract PDF Pages. Keep the original document until you have opened and checked the downloaded result.

Know what can change

The visible content of retained pages is copied into a new PDF. Document-level bookmarks, attachments, scripts, forms, page labels, and digital signatures may not behave exactly as they did in the original.

Use page thumbnails with page numbers

Printed page numbers do not always match PDF page positions. A cover may be unnumbered and front matter may use Roman numerals, while the tool selects physical PDF pages starting at one. Compare the thumbnail content with the displayed position before deleting anything. In a long packet, remove a small group first and inspect the new document rather than assuming a printed footer identifies the same page number used by the selection control.

Privacy and reliability

Process locally, then verify

The PDF is processed by JavaScript in this browser and is not uploaded to the iToolsX server. Close the tab when finished, keep the original file, and open every result before submitting, printing, or sharing it. Password-protected or damaged PDFs may not load.

Delete PDF Pages questions

Can I remove blank pages?

Yes. Select each blank-page preview and create the new PDF.

Can deleted pages be recovered?

Not from the downloaded result. Retain the original PDF as your recoverable copy.

Is my document sent to iToolsX?

No. Page selection and PDF creation happen locally in the browser.

Why can a protected PDF not open?

Encrypted PDFs require the correct permission before a browser tool can copy their pages.
