Exact ordering versus shuffle
Drag-and-drop and the Earlier or Later buttons are intended for exact document assembly. Shuffle creates a random sequence and is better for worksheets, flash cards, or other material where random order is genuinely useful. Reset restores the original source order without requiring another upload.
What reordering changes
The downloaded PDF contains the same selected page content in a new sequence. Reordering does not rewrite text or improve scans. Document-level bookmarks, page labels, forms, embedded files, and digital signatures may not remain equivalent after the pages are copied into a new file.
